This professional quality 50m/165 ft surveyors’ tape comes in an open reel long tape format and is produced by the highly respected Swedish firm of Bahco.Despite its high quality, the price of this tape is extremely competitive.
Made of fibreglass, this tape conforms to EEC Class II levels of accuracy. A conventional but very efficient steel anchor hook is attached to the tip of the tape, which is graduated in both metric and imperial measures along its 50 metres (165 feet) length.
The strength of the blade is maintained both by both its manufacture from 16,000 distinct strands of fibreglass and its double nylon coating. This coating, exclusive to Bahco, improves the blade’s capacity to resist abrasion as well as cut down on damage from marking and scuffing. As a result it helps ensure a longer usable life span for your investment.
An open reel / frame case protects the product providing the advantage of enabling the blade to be readily cleaned under a tap or hose to avoid damage to the mechanism from accumulated dirt or grit. A sturdy mechanism winds the blade back into this housing and the comfortable handle allows you to carry the tape with ease over extended periods of use.
