The 8101002 is a 50mm Corrosion Protection Tape with PET (petroleum) backing. It is a non-hardening and non-cracking cold applied tape which remains plastic over a wide temperature range. It is highly resistant to mineral acids, alkalis, salts and micro-organisms and highly impermeable to water, water vapour and gases. It is used for the protection of buried or exposed pipes, rods, cables, valves and metal fittings from corrosion.

Scotch® Rubber Splicing Tape 23 is a highly conformable 0.76 mm thick, self-amalgamating EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) base for rubber splicing. It is designed to splice and terminate cables with overload temperatures of 266 degrees F(130 degree C), due to dissipating heat effectively. The snakeskin liner is easily removed when applying the tape, to allow the self-fusing ethylene propylene rubber, high insulating voltage tape.
Self-amalgamating tapes made from an insulating elastomer, usable at low, medium and high voltages.
The layers amalgamate into a homogeneous mass after application.
Applications: reconstitution of insulating cable up to 69 kV, replacing soldering, metal braids on lead sheathing, making waterproof joints.
