A basic low hydrogen, all-position electrode (E7018-1) used on either DC or AC current. Code quality welds are obtainable on higher strength steels with weld-metal toughness properties (charpy impacts) down to -46 Degrees C (-50 Degrees F), coupled with a low hydrogen weld deposit.
