Stanley 1-54-732 Graphite Ball Pein Hammer, 32 oz
Stanley hammers are manufactured from drop forged high carbon steel, with ground and polished faces. ‘Evertite’ fixed shafts secure the head to the shaft. Separate water and oil quenching of head ensures correct hardness. Ball Pein High strength graphite core surrounded by impact resistant polycarbonate jacket for protection against accidental overstrikes. Ribbed handle for improved user comfort. The graphite ball pein hammer by Stanley is an ergonomically-designed, durable hammer that is ideal for engineering and automotive applications, such as striking a cold chisel when cutting metal or bending and shaping metal.
The hammer features a solid graphite core shaft which offers maximum strength and is a much more durable material than fibreglass, hickory or ash hammers. The poll and ball pein are both rim tempered, which is an additional process that is exclusive to Stanley hammers. The poll and ball pein are heated and then allowed to cool naturally, which further reduces the possibility of chipping or cracks. The two-piece hammer features a patented head to handle assembly design, which prevents the two pieces from separating over time in order to ensure the durability of the product as well as your safety. The hammer features an over-moulded rubber handle design, which is textured to minimise the risk of your hand slipping, whilst the upper handle has a yellow-coloured design which makes it easy to find on-site or in a toolbox.
