HAWS 1/2 Fr110Brt Anti Scald Valve – Mfr #: SP157A

Offered here is a Haws SP157A Anti-Scald Valve for use on safety showers to prevent the water in the line that may be very hot from scalding the person using the shower.

This is especially important on outside showers in northern climates that require heat tracing. The heat traced line can get very hot depending on your means of tracing it and can inflict severe burns to a person who uses the shower in an emergency. Valve opens at 110° F and closes at 95°F. Maximum pressure is 200 PSIG. This is a New Old Stock item that was left over from a project and never used. It is in perfect new condition and includes Haws instructions and other paperwork. It also has a galvanized street elbow and short nipple for easy replacement in a Haws safety shower.
