One of the most usual ways of installing or dismantling elements set in an axis (such as gear wheels, pulleys…) of small or medium size is to use a mechanical puller. The operation is performed by utilising the centre screw as a support to push the element or pull it up to the desired position.
EGA Master has a wide range of versatile mechanical gear pullers, with 2, 3, 4 or even 6 jaws. The new two legged gear puller with 6 jaws and 3 lengths is specially suited to work in limited space, ensuring that damage is not caused to the workpiece during dismantling.
